Marilyn Bridge of Wingham peacefully at Wingham & District Hospital on Monday, March 22nd, with family by her side at the age of 80. Loving mom of Sharon Shobbrook, Sheila & Terry Armstrong, Lyle & Audrey Bridge, Lynne & Don Armstrong, Brad & Diane Shobbrook, Susan Bridge & Don, Steven Bridge & Vicky and Krista Marston. Cherished grandma of seventeen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Phyllis Biggin & Denis Jewitt, Wayne & Barb Fear, Larry & Linda Fear, Bruce & Joyce Fear and Verna Edgar. Marilyn will be lovingly remembered by the extended Shobbrook and Bridge families. Predeceased by her first husband Rae Shobbrook, second husband Allan Bridge, brother Russell Fear, parents Samuel & Margaret Fear, daughter-in-law Cathy Bridge and son-in-law Marvin Fulmek. Visitation will be held at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, those wishing to attend must RSVP via our website, please keep in mind only Marilyn’s children will be in the receiving line. Masks must be worn at all times. A private funeral service will be held at the Wingham United Church on Friday, March 26th. Final resting place, Wingham Cemetery.
