James “Jim” Gibson, of Lucknow, beloved husband of the late Eleanor passed away at the Wingham & District Hospital on Thursday February 26, at the age of 77. He was born to the late Grace and Marshall Gibson. Greatly missed by children; David and Sheila Gibson, Peggy and Kevin Clark, Christine and Paul McIntyre, Scott and Kim Gibson and Darryl and Lisa Gibson. Also survived by 18 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, sisters Shirley and Don Smith and Beatrice Madge, brother Donald and Dianne Gibson and sisters-in-law Kathy Gibson and Nancy Gibson. Predeceased by sister Phylis Rivett and brothers Bill and Allan Gibson. Due to present restrictions a private funeral service will be held from the MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow with spring interment at Greenhill Cemetery.
