Carruthers, David (Age 66, Goderich)

His family sadly announces the passing, after a short but fierce battle with cancer, of David Carruthers, son of the late Irwin and Jean Carruthers, husband of Raji Retnakaran and father of Warren. Dave was a gifted multi- sport athlete at Goderich DCI and a fine actor in the Drama Club. A dedicated lawn Bowler, he competed several times in the Ontario Championships. Dave, with his wife and best friend, Raji, travelled throughout Southwestern Ontario, attending over 20 musical theatre performances annually. Possessor of a quick wit, Dave loved to debate, often playing the Devil’s advocate but always in good fun. Dave will be sorely missed but fondly remembered by his siblings John, Julia, and Andrew, brother and sister in law, Ravi and Christine, nieces and nephews and friends in Goderich and Toronto.
