Gordon Stickley of Listowel, passed away at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton, on Saturday, December 5, 2020, in his 96th year.
Beloved husband of the late Ruth (Winger) Stickley
Father of Wayne and Kathy Stickley of Listowel, Karen Stickley and Michele Legault of Ancaster, and Brian and Sherryl Stickley of R.R.4, Listowel.
Cherished by his three grandsons, David, Kevin, and Tony.
Brother of Eldon and Margaret Stickley of West Bank, B.C., and brother-in-law of Gladys Stickley of Collingwood, Trudy Winger of Palmerston, Gerald Winger of Listowel, Bruce Eade of Fordwich, and Evelyn Winger of Listowel. Remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Edgar and Edith (Sheffer) Stickley, brother Harvey Stickley, sisters Dorothy Bossert and her husband Paul, Mina vanderBent and her husband Bruce, and Edna Brown and her husband Bill, and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Jacob Smith and his wife Bernice, Clifford Winger, Ruthann Winger, Jean Eade, and Ray Winger.
Visitation will be held at Listowel Evangelical Missionary Church, on Thursday, December 10th from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, visitors must schedule a time by selecting RSVP under the “Service Details” on Gordon’s page, or by calling the funeral home at 519-291-4840. Everyone attending must wear a mask.
A private family funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Jeff Wood officiating. The service will be recorded and the link available on the Eaton Funeral Home website.
Interment in Maple Grove Cemetery, Howick Township, Ontario.
Memorial donations to Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton, or to a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated, and may be made through the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.
