Markham. Edith Jean (née Reinwald) – Passed away peacefully on Friday December 18th, 2020, at Braemar Nursing Home, Wingham, ON in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Markham (2003). Devoted mother of Lois (Ray) Baynton of Wingham and Paul (Carolyn) Markham of Innerkip. Cherished grandmother of Craig (Laura) Baynton, Jill (Brad) Lomanto and Jaime (Gavin) Moran; Karen (George) Geerlinks, Jennifer (Jack) Markham and the late Tyler Markham (2014). Proud great grandmother of Justin, Noah, Easton, Eric, Ryan, Abby, Ella, Maddie, Tyson and Connor. Survived by her sister-in-law Joan (George) Hammond. Aunt Jean will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Grace and Russ, and her siblings, Fern (Newell ”Red”), Beth (Don), Bill (Mary) and Bob (Isobel), and brother-in-law Grant (Helen). Jean was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church in Woodstock and will be missed by her church family. Jean found joy in many things, but she particularly enjoyed her crocheting. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family on Monday, December 21st, from 2-4 at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock. Due to Covid 19, RSVP is mandatory and can be arranged at the funeral home website. A private family service will be taking place at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions to the Juvenile Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice would be appreciated and may be arranged through the funeral home.
