Harold Hamilton of Listowel passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Saturday, November 28, 2020, in his 76th year.
Husband of Karen (Duncan) Hamilton.
Brother of Jean Pettitt, Allen & Grace Hamilton, Marion & Keith Bristowe, and Larry & Eileen Hamilton, all of Listowel.
Brother-in-law of Marsha Hamilton of Listowel, Doreen Hamilton of Walkerton, Doug & Anna Duncan, Deb & Bill Heibein, and Pam Woodrow, all of Listowel, and remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents J. Walter & Stella (Cosens) Hamilton, and siblings Orland Hamilton, Marjorie Bradley, Ivan & Marilyn Hamilton, Howard Hamilton, Isabelle & Donald Chamney, and by his brothers-in-law Woody Woodrow and Tim Duncan.
Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Wednesday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, visitors must schedule a time by selecting RSVP under the “Service Details” on Harold’s page on the funeral home website, or by calling the funeral home at 519-291-4840. Everyone attending must wear a mask.
A private family funeral service will follow, with Major Wendy Johnstone officiating. Masks are required and social distancing must be respected. The service will be live-streamed, and the link will be available on the funeral home website.
Interment in Elma Centre Cemetery, Atwood.
Memorial donations to Listowel Salvation Army, Alzheimer Society, or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
