Peacefully at Huronview Home for the Aged, Clinton on Sunday, November 15, 2020 at the age of 85. Dear husband of the late Joanne (Versteegden) Dorssers (2000). Loving father of Wendy Dorssers and Sheldon Duff of Oakville, Lee and Shelley Dorssers of RR 2 Staffa, Sandra and Rob Taylor of Tavistock, and Terry and Meghan Dorssers of RR 4 Seaforth. Dear grandfather of James, Daniel, and Nicole Duff; Cole Dorssers and his fiancé Amy Eveland, Caitlin and Nick Schultz, Ethan and Larissa Dorssers; Sarah Taylor and her fiancé Derek Dekroon, Alex Taylor; Adriana Dorssers. Dear great-grandfather of Kyla and Ayten Schultz. Survived by brother Bill (Mary), and sisters Mien (Gerry), Jet, and Dora. Predeceased by his parents Leo and Wilhelmina Dorssers, 3 brothers, and 7 sisters. Dad was a loving and supportive husband, father and grandfather and great grandfather. He was a very hard working farmer who took pride in everything he did.
A public visitation will be held at the Haskett Funeral Home, 87 Goderich Street, SEAFORTH on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Due to Provincial COVID-19 restrictions, each person must RSVP for the visitation.
