Surrounded with virtual love and prayers by so many and with her daughter Julie by her side, E. Jewell Ziegler Coghlin of Huronlea, Brussels, and formerly of Listowel, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 in her 100th year. She was loved by so many.
Wife of the late Neil Coghlin. Mother of John & Judy Coghlin of Rosseau, Mary Ann & Larry Binning of Thamesford, Stephen & Linda Coghlin of Rosseau, and Julie Newbigging of Listowel. Predeceased by her son Scott Coghlin, and son-in-law Kevin Newbigging.
Grandmother of Tracey Coghlin & Brad Hoover, Andy & Angela Coghlin, Natacha Coghlin & Yannick Tchoum, Catherine Coghlin, Nathan & Susan Binning, Becky & Derek Boersma, Dennis Coghlin, Sean & Erika Coghlin, Meghan & Calvin Kwong, Colin & Julie Newbigging, Cory & Tom Slattery, Abbey Newbigging. Great-grandmother of 16 children; Alison, Ava, William, Alexandra, Lucas, Josephine, Ella, Sam, Ralph, Woodrow, Walter, Warner, Lily, Carson, Sawyer & Griffin.
Cherished by her sisters, Mary Robertson of Waterloo, Wynifred Overend of Dunnville, Gloria Tomlinson of Barrie, and sister-in-law June Ziegler of Palmerston. Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Will & Grace (Stinson) Ziegler, mother and father-in-law John and Janet Coghlin, her beloved siblings, Fred & Alma Ziegler, Dorothy & Don Aitchison, Milton & Doris Ziegler, Albert ‘Happy” Ziegler, Ruth & Eldon Nesbitt, Irene & Gord Binns, Jim Roberson, Glen Overend, & Warner Tomlinson, brother-in-law Stewart & Betty Coghlin, and sister-in-law Bernice & Les Henderson.
Mom was truly an amazing woman, who always showed us kindness and gave the warmest hugs and kisses. We hope that we can honour her incredible presence on this earth by practicing to be a little bit more like her each day. Strong, Resilient, Kind, and Loving. She will always be in our hearts.

A private family funeral service will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church, Listowel, on Monday, December 14th at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Don McCallum officiating. The service will be live-streamed and the link available on the funeral home website.
Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
