Murray, Maurice (Age 91, Clifford) Maurice Sherwood Murray of Clifford passed away at Palmerston & District Hospital on Saturday, October 17, 2020, in his 92nd year.

Husband of the late Joan Murray.

Father of Linda and Norbert VanKooy of Burk’s Falls, Wayne and Karen Murray of Owen Sound, Dianne Epworth of Clifford, Kate and John Oatway of Kanata, and Roger and Antonet Murray of Oakville.

Special family to Debbie and Dave Senek of Listowel, and Douglas and Suzanne Holtom of London, and dear friend of Edith Henry of Clifford.

Grandfather of Paul VanKooy and Wendy Gomoll, Mark and Melissa VanKooy, Krissy and Grant Ralston, David and Rachael Murray, Heather and Mike Lacey, Elizabeth Murray and Will Klie, Murray and Samantha Epworth, Graham and Stefanie Epworth, Darcy and Ryan Bast, Cindy and Simon Taggart, Kendra Oatway and Bryson McVeetors, John Murray, Matthew Murray, Luca Murray, Brooke Senek, Matthew Senek, Robert Holtom, and great-grandfather of Harrison, Kyler, Emma, Avery, Hudson, Parker, Clara, Callum, Logan, Summer, Miles, Mazikeen, Beckett, Jack, Kennedy, Gage, Myles, Lyla, Forrest, Kaia, and Max.

Brother-in-law of Larry and Jackie Holtom of Mount Forest, and remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Caroline (Braun) Murray, brother Allan Murray and wife June, sister Audrey Keil and husband George, and by his son-in-law Larry Epworth.

Visitation will be held at the Hardy Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, visitors must schedule a time by selecting RSVP under the service details on Maurice’s page, or by calling the funeral home at 519-338-2441. Everyone attending must wear a mask.

A private family funeral will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home on Saturday, October 24th at 1:30 p.m.  Rev. Jamie Holtom officiating.  The service will be recorded and the link available on the funeral home website.

Interment in Clifford Cemetery.
