Wilson, Elizabeth (Goderich)

Elizabeth (Libby) Wilson of Goderich, ON passed away peacefully with her husband Larry by her side on Sept 23, 2020 at the Huron Hospice. Libby is also survived by her children Tamra Berry (Barry Head), Tracey and Jim Van Osch, Todd Wilson & Tim Wilson. Dearly loved by her grandchildren Cody & Katie Berry, Ainsley Berry, Callie Berry, Tyson Van Osch, Shauna Van Osch, Emily Roberts Wilson, Natalie Roberts Wilson, and great grandchildren Beau & Auston Berry.

Also survived by her brother Brian (Diane) Habkirk, & sister-in-law Diana Habkirk. She will be missed by her in-laws Bill & Wilda Cudmore, Elaine Smith (Bert), Ken & Laurel Wilson as well as many nieces & nephews. Pre-deceased by her parents Scott & Mae Habkirk and parents-in-law Roy & Irma Wilson, her sister Jacqueline Melanson, brother Leslie Habkirk, and in-laws Mel Melanson, Jane Habkirk, Lenna & Ron Pennington, and Marjorie & Meredith Wilson.

Lib’s pride and joy were her grandchildren who she enjoyed spending time with whenever she could. Her many years working at the A&P forged a lifelong friendship with her coffee group who she sipped with until the end.

Private family service to be held Saturday September 26, 2020. Donations may be made in Libby’s memory to the Wingham and District Hospital Foundation – Oncology Unit or the Huron Residential Hospice.  Friends may sign the book of condolences at www.mccallumpalla.ca
