June ThompsonJune Thompson of Listowel passed away at Royal Terrace, Palmerston, on Sunday, August 16, 2020, at the age of 88

Beloved wife of the late S. Harvey Thompson.  ‘Mom’ of Joe Thompson of Orangeville, Debbie Thompson-Wilson & David Wilson of Guelph, Robert & Nancy Thompson of Langley, B.C., and Marion and Kevin Toner of Listowel.

She was the much loved ‘grandma’ of Sarah St. John (David), Richard Thompson (Corinne), Ian Thompson, Tracey Toner (Shawn Eavis), Tiffany Bennett (Curtis), and proud great-grandma of Olivia, Lennon, Niyah, and Kinsey.

Born in Scarborough, ON, and a graduate of Mothercraft nursing college in Toronto, she moved to Listowel in 1953 as a new bride.  After raising her “Impossible 4”, she worked at the MDS Lab in the 1970s and 1980s.

Predeceased by her parents Dorothy (Sigston) and Arthur Harris, and her brother Bob Harris.  She will be remembered by her many nephews, nieces, cousins, family, and friends.

Private family arrangements have been entrusted to the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.  Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.

Memorial donations to the Palmerston & District Hospital, or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
