Surrounded by his family on August 14, 2020 Stuart Pole of Dashwood passed away at South Huron Hospital in his 89th year. Beloved husband of 62 years to Shirley (nee Bell). Loving father to William (Brenda) Pole and Larry Pole and grandfather to Brian & Jennifer, Madison & Edward, Kevin, Ian, Tara-Lyn & Josh, Lindsay & Tim and Kira.
Survived by his siblings Edith Philips (the late Bill), Edward, Judy (John) Bowman and pre-deceased by Kenneth. Stuart will be missed by his large extended family of brothers and sisters-in-law, several nieces, nephews and friends. Pre-deceased by his parents Kingsley and Florence (nee Angood). Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery. A Celebration of Stuart’s Life will be held at a later date, when the COVID restrictions have lessened. Memorial donations may be made to South Huron Hospital, Exeter or Clinton Public Hospital.
