Neil MacKenzie, beloved husband of Judy MacKenzie, of Ashfield Township, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at the age of 75. He was born in Kincardine on July 1, 1945 to the late Rhoda (Cook) and Henry MacKenzie. Greatly missed by his children Brian (Annette) MacKenzie, Neil John MacKenzie and Erin (Chad) MacArthur and grandchildren Branson, Lane, Coye, Drayton, Brooke, Dallas, Jayce, Jenna and Coby.
Also survived by his siblings Marion Barrett of Scarborough, Jim (Ruth) MacKenzie of Point Clark, Lynda MacKenzie of Kincardine, and Barbara Hayden of Goderich and sisters-in-law Janet (Wayne) Nixon of Ripley and Joyce (David) Thompson of Guelph. Predeceased by brothers Ross, Ray and Allan MacKenzie. It was well known how much Neil loved his farm, his family, his friends and community. He always found the good in people. Cremation has taken place and a graveside celebration of Neil’s life will be held at the Lochalsh Cemetery on Friday, August 7, 2020 at 11 am.
