Muriel Gottfried, of Listowel, at Royal Terrace , Palmerston, on Saturday, July 4, 2020, in her 94th year. Wife of the late Andrew Gottfried (1999). Mother of Wayne & Betty Gottfried of Clifford, Elwood & Debbie Gottfried of Gowanstown, Sharon & Wayne Martin of Palmerston, Rodney & Marilyn Gottfried of South Gillies, and Kathryn & Gary Grainger of Neustadt.
Grandmother of 16 and great-grandmother of 30. Remembered also by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Alex & Hilda (Krotz) Wolfe, and by her siblings Ruby Naylor, Gertrude Brisbin, and Harold Wolfe. A private family funeral service will be held at Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Tuesday, July 7th with Rev. Ernie Naylor officiating.
The service will be recorded and the link will be available on the funeral home web-site. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel. Memorial donations to Listowel Memorial Hospital, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
