Isabel Elizabeth Elaine Scott (Bolt), beloved wife of James “Jim” D. Scott, passed away quietly at home on June 17, 2020. Born August 2, 1938 in Turnberry Twp., Huron County. Daughter of the late Leslie and Olive Bolt. Elaine is survived by her children; Calvin (Linda) Nixon, Glen (Karen) Nixon, Marjorie (Dan) McBurney, Steve (Patti) Nixon, Randy (Kim) Nixon and step-children Judy Dixon (Steve Campbell) Jill (Dave) Jervis, Jo Ann (Joe) Flynn, Jamie Scott (Lorie Nurse) Julie Gagnier (Chris Babb). Elaine will be sadly missed by 29 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Lorna (Wayne) Brown. Predeceased by step-daughter Jay Carter, Don Tremeer and grandson Craig Jervis.
Elaine was a dedicated nurse for 32 years who had a passion for life and a joy that spread to all she knew. Music was her life-long passion as well as painting and sewing.
A private family graveside service has been held at Maitland Cemetery, Goderich. A Celebration of Elaine’s life will be held at a later date.
