Huber, Melvin (Age 77, Owen Sound)

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Melvin “Buster” Seraphine Huber announces his peaceful passing on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Owen Sound hospital.
He was in his 78th year. Melvin will be dearly missed by his friend Judy Alderson and family, his sisters Anna Marie Strauss and Geraldine Weiss, his brother Albinus Huber (Pat), as well as his many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Seraphine and Olivia Huber, brother Linus (Helen), sisters Florence Arnold (Jack), Josephine Mitchell (Peter), Magdalene Steffler (Gordon), and his brothers-in-law Linus Strauss and Robert Weiss.
We would like to thank the medical staff at the Walkerton and Owen Sound hospitals for their wonderful care. A special thank you to Paul and Lori Weiss for their dedicated care to Buster before, during, and following his illness.
Melvin worked the family farm for 60 years before retiring to Formosa. He was always ready for a good game of shuffleboard or cards with his valued friends and family. His sense of humour and hearty laughter will remain with us and continue to make us smile. We love you Buster. Rest in peace.
Donation cheques will be accepted at the Greg Roberts Funeral Home, Mildmay ON to Formosa Roman Catholic Church, the Walkerton Hospital or a charity of your choice, as expressions of sympathy.
“Celebration of Life” and burial will be arranged by the family at a later time.
