Christine “Chris” Maria LANNIN (nee Van De Gevel) of Route 2, Atwood unexpectedly after a brief illness on Friday, November 1, 2019. Chris was born 62 years ago on January 17, 1957, in New Market, Ontario. Beloved mother of Ben Lannin and Kari McLellan. Cherished Nana Chris to Lawerance, Terri-Lynn and Leeroy. Forever remembered sister to Riek and Mahlon Horst, Peter and Cindy Van De Gevel, Liz and Earl Lannin, Joanne and Hugh Crawford, Andre and Brenda Van De Gevel, Mary and John McLagan, John and Palma Van De Gevel, Paul and Mary Van De Gevel and Margaret Van De Gevel and Greg Greene. Chris is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law Darlene King, Betty Becker, Shirley and Bob Bitton, Dianne and Lloyd Shiell, Don and Ann Lannin, Larry and Gayle Lannin, Terry and Angie Lannin, and Helene Lannin as well as by her many nieces, nephews and extended families. Chris is now reunited with her beloved husband Ray Lannin who predeceased her October 8, 2004, her parents John C and Mary (Tegenbosch) Van De Gevel, her father and mother-in-law; Percy and Vera (Albrecht) Lannin, brothers-in-law Bert Arand, Ernie King, George Lannin, Lloyd Lannin, sister-in-law Marjorie and Elmer Graf and her nieces Kelly and Vicky Crawford.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton, on Thursday, November 7, 2019, from 1 until 4 and 6 to 8 PM. The funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Friday, November 8, 2019, at 11 AM. Interment in the Donegal Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, Milverton.
