Gladys CARTER of Listowel, on Monday, November 11, 2019, in her 84th year. Loving wife of Leon Carter. Mother of David and Sharon Carter of Palmerston, Ron and Deb Carter of Waterloo, and Janice Hodder and Peter Galway, and Joanne Garant and Brian Hayward, all of Listowel. Grandmother of Jordan and Ashley Carter, Brandon Carter and Rachel Kinzel, Natalie Carter and Dan Bye, Jessica Carter and Jamie Wong, Taylor Carter, Tiffany and Matt Strong, Wayde Hodder and Katherine Walker, Meagan Garant and Jake Hall, and Justin Garant, and great-grandmother of Brooklyn Bye, Zachary Bye, Jackson Strong, and Cooper Strong. Sister of Bernice and Neil Cockwell of Listowel, and Shirley Kornacker of Waterloo, and sister-in-law of Richard and Shirley Carter of Listowel, and Ted Carter of Leduc, Alberta. Predeceased by her parents Gordon and Nellie (McConnell) Bell, and brothers-in-law Adam Kornacker, and Dennis Carter.
Visitation will be held at Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Friday, November 15th from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM. Reception to follow at Trinity United Church, Listowel. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
