Bruce MacDONALD of Wingham, on Friday, June 14, 2019, at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Catherine (née Keating) MacDonald. Loving father of Carey and Michelle of Orangeville, Stephen and Susan of Oakville, Brett and Jennifer of Waterloo, and Tracy and the late Len Sangster of Wingham. Dear grandpa of Jake MacDonald, Bethany and Mike Newell, Tim MacDonald, Phil and Brittany MacDonald, Carly Sangster, Jenna and A.J. Hall, Katie Sangster, Justin, Sarah and Caleb MacDonald and great-grandpa of six grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild. Brother of Mary Helen and Lyle Reidt of Oakville and brother-in-law of Roy Bridge of Toronto, Jim Scott of Goderich and Bob Doyle of London. Bruce will be lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his daughter Marilyn, parents Roy and Eva (née McKay), parents-in-law Norman and Cela Keating, brother Alex MacDonald and Betty and sisters Elizabeth Laurendeau and Les, Beatrice Groh and Brian, Peggy Bell and Raymond, Donna Scott, Donalda Bridge and Elva Doyle.
A casual visitation will take place at McBurney Funeral Home, on Thursday from 2 until 4 and 6 to 8 PM Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church on Friday at 1 PM. Private interment will take place in Wingham Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or London Health Sciences Centre Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
