Andrew Robert Davidson of Seaforth passed away peacefully at Huron Residential Hospice on Thursday, June 13, 2019. Born on March 17, 1933, he was in his 87th year. Andrew is survived by Bob and Ann Lawson and family, John and Wendy Lawson and family, Bob and Sandra Jansen, Len and Deb Jamieson, and many more friends, relatives and neighbours. He will also be missed by his special friend, Michelle. Predeceased by his parents John “Jack” and Jean (née Lawson) Davidson.
Andrew was a lifetime resident and farmer of McKillop and Tuckersmith Townships. He will be remembered for his strong convictions, his generosity, his love of good conversation and his admiration for anything with a John Deere nameplate.
Visitation will be held at McGlynn Family Funeral Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390, on Monday, June 17, 2019 from 10 a.m. until the time of Andrew’s funeral service at 11 a.m. A reception will immediately follow in the Northside United Church Hall and interment will take place in Baird’s Cemetery.
