Ronald Joseph BESTER of Wingham and formerly Teeswater, after a brief illness on Thursday, June 20th, 2019, at age 74. Husband of the late Elaine “Laney” Bester who predeceased him on April 6th, 2019. Special friend of Cheryl Tremblett of Wingham. Loved father of Shawn Bester and his wife Krista of Formosa and Jason Bester of Teeswater. Fondly remembered by Laney’s children, Raymond Rock of Belmore, Joseph Rock and Shelley of Goderich and Lesley Rock of Hamilton. Missed by his grandchildren, Amber, Meadow, Rain, Aeson, Chase and Sky.
Survived by his sister, Evelyn Walters and Harold of Chepstow, brother-in-law Clint Turnbull of Walkerton and several nieces and nephews. Ron will hold a special place in the hearts of the Duck and Tremblett families. Predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Gloria (née Wells) Bester and sister Audrey Turnbull. Arrangements entrusted to the Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater.
A private celebration of Ron’s life will take place this summer.
Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
