Jean Elizabeth ASHLEY (nee Dinsmore) of Listowel, born in Fordwich, Ontario, on November 17, 1934. Beloved wife of the late Calvin Hudson Ashley (1974). Jean enjoyed working at Smith’s Valu Mart, crocheting and making comforters and quilts and morning coffee at McDonald’s. Cherished mother of Betty and Earle Boyer of Elmira, Karen and Jay Cullen of Listowel, Kathy and Eric Sage of Listowel, Albert and Julie Ashley of Kitchener, Floyd and Cathy Ashley of New Dundee, Kevin and Marilyn Ashley of Belmore, Rob Ashley and Cathy of Port Sydney, and Linda Oehring and Ivan Ament of Listowel. Loving grandmother of Trevor and Amanda Boyer, Brad Boyer, Kerri and Nick Lingard, Calvin and Pam Cullen, Becky and Todd Stevens, Leanne and Mike Powell, Michelle Sage, Derek and Lindsay Sage, AJ Ashley and Fabian, Tina and Kyle Wheaton, Kelsey Ashley and Ronnie, Graeme Harvey and Caitlin, Andrew Harvey and Brendan, Joshua Ashley, Catey and Joe Fischer, Nathan and Tammy Ashley, Caleb Ashley, CJ Ashley and Jenna Cook, Zak Ashley, Kimberly and Michael Aurini, Holly Deveau, and Karla and Cory Oehring. Missed by brother David and Jean Dinsmore and sister Doris and Ron Ashley, sisters-in-law Joyce Ashley, Mary Dyet, and Florence Addison, brothers-in-law Melvin and Gail Ashley, and Donald and Carol Ashley, and by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Ernest and Marian (Pritchard) Dinsmore, brothers and sister-in-laws Robert and Margaret Dinsmore, and Jack and Betty Dinsmore, daughter-in-law Laurie Ashley, special friend Bill Gilmer, parents-in-law Albert and Margaret (Hudson) Ashley, brothers-in-law Peter Sunday, John Dyet, and Carl Addison.
