George THORBURN of Ripley on Saturday at the age of 72. Loved husband of Elaine (McIntyre) for 31 years. Missed by his children Jim of Ripley and Carol of Port Elgin. Survived by his sister Linda Thorburn of Montreal, brothers in law John, Donald, Allan and Bruce McIntyre, all of Elgin County and sister in law Dianne McIntyre of Ottawa. Also survived by his extended family in Montreal and Lachute, Quebec. Predeceased by his parents Norman and Myrtle and infant brother Nelson.
Visitation at MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Ripley on Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM, and one hour prior to the funeral service to be conducted on Thursday at 1 PM. Interment at Ripley Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Ripley.
