Robert Neil STAPLES, of Mount Forest and formerly of Monck, on Wednesday, May 8th, in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of Gladys Staples (nee Tweedle). Loving father of Lorne Staples and his wife Dianne of Meaford, Earl Staples and his wife Jo-Anne of Waterloo, Norm Staples and his wife Ruth Anne of Arthur, Lois and her husband Glenn Shaw of Guelph, and Linda and her husband Doug Parsons of Arthur Township. Cherished grandfather of 13 grand and 18 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Mae Gibson of Stoney Creek. Predeceased by his sisters Helen McBride, Violet Taylor, Dorothy Roseman, June Bryson, and his brother Vernon Staples.
A funeral service celebrating Robert’s life will be held at the Faith Baptist Church, 485 King Street East, Mount Forest, on Monday, May 13th at 1 PM, with visitation being held at the church prior to the service from 11 AM until 12:45 PM. Interment at Mount Forest Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to England Funeral Home, Mount Forest.
