Roy Martin of Gowanstown, on Friday, in his 82nd year. Loving husband of Edith Martin. Father of Barry and Shelley Martin of St. Catharines, Brian Martin of Listowel, and Brad and Chandra Martin, and Michael Martin, all of Gowanstown. Grandfather of Taylor, Chelsea, Stephanie, Alicia, Jeanette, Jill, Kyle and Heidi, Devon, Carsen and Jessica, and great-grandfather of Melody. Brother of Eileen and Clarence Heintz of Waterloo, and Ida and Aden Brubacher of Elmira, and brother-in-law of Alice Martin of Brussels, Mildred Martin of Elmira, Elizabeth Weber of St. Jacobs, Becky and Eugene Bender of Goderich, and Stuart and Ruth Ann Steckle of Zurich. Predeceased by his parents Isaiah and Lydian (Brox) Martin, brothers Elmer, Aden, and Howard, and his brother-in-law Abner Weber.
Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel on Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Interment and committal services will be held on Wednesday, May 22nd at Zion United Church Cemetery, Wallace Township at 9:30 a.m., followed by the funeral service at Milverton Mennonite Fellowship at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations to Listowel Memorial Hospital, or Milverton Mennonite Fellowship would be appreciated.
