Mervin Henry John HERSHEY, of Harriston, on Saturday, May 4th, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Ferne Hershey. Loving father of Kevin Hershey and his wife Marilyn of Arthur. Cherished grandfather of 3 grand and 3 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Alvin Hershey. Fondly remembered by his extended family and friends. Predeceased by daughter Carol Hershey, sister-in-law Ruth Hershey, and niece Eunice Diebold.
A funeral service celebrating Mervin’s life will be held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 146 Sligo Road West, Mount Forest on Thursday, May 9th at 11 AM, with visitation prior to the service from 10 until 10:45 AM. Interment at Chilton Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to St. John’s Lutheran Church, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the England Funeral Home, Mount Forest.
