Peter Anthony FRITZ, age 69 of Chepstow, with his loving family by his side on Friday, May 10, 2019, at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound. Beloved husband of Gwen of Chepstow and father of Stacey and John Kunkel, Marsha and Ryan Cartwright, and Laura and Brad Keip, all of Walkerton. Cherished “Poppa” of J.P., Sydney, Alex, Ottilia, Hadley, Zoe, and Brody. Dear brother of Jim Fritz of Meaford, Mary and Murray Cassidy of Chepstow, Ann and Rick Nielsen of Hanover, and in-laws; Joan Schmidt of Chepstow, Marilyn Schmidt of Ayr, Kate Schmidt of Holyrood, Dan and Anne Schmidt of Brampton, Bill and Colleen Schmidt of Walkerton, Mary and John Vallee of Chepstow, and Janice Weber and Stewart Mitchell of Bracebridge. He will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Peter was predeceased by his parents, Art and Rita Fritz, and in-laws; Jerry Schmidt, Joe Schmidt, Mike Schmidt, Sharon and Jim Eckensweiler, Elroy Weber, and parents in law Joe and Stella Schmidt.
Friends and relatives are invited for visitation from 2 until 4 and 7 to 9 PM on Thursday at the Cameron Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM at Mary Immaculate Church, Chepstow. Father Luc Payette officiating. Interment in Mary Immaculate Cemetery, Chepstow. Arrangements entrusted to Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton.
As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce would be appreciated by the family.
