Jean de Vries of Listowel, went to be with her Lord and Saviour, on Friday, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Joe de Vries. Loving mother of Robert de Vries and Arthur Potts von der Lippe of Paris, Emma de Vries Voves and Alan of Toronto, Louise Eitel and Jeff of Kitchener, Jo-Anne Edlund and Mark of London, Dorothy Bonvanie and Bill of Cambridge, Alfred de Vries and Joanne of Gowanstown, Alice Burgsma and Byrne of Dungannon, Harold de Vries and Kimberley of West Montrose, and Gerald Marc de Vries and Natasha of St. Mary’s. Loved and adored by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sister of Mien (d), Anke, Hannie, and Abelien, and mother-in-law of Lynn, and Rainer, and remembered by her nieces, nephews, and many friends. Predeceased by her daughter Grace Leipscher, and son John de Vries.
Visitation will be held at the Eaton Funeral Home, on Tuesday, from 2 until 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Private family interment and committal services will be held at Fairview Cemetery, to be followed by the funeral service at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, Listowel on Wednesday at 11 AM. Arrangements entrusted to Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel.
