Chesney, Steve (Age 52, Route 1, Londesborough)

Steve CHESNEY suddenly due to heart complications on Wednesday, May 22, 2019.  Born in Clinton on July 22, 1966, Stephen Hugh Chesney of Route 1, Londesborough was in his 53rd year. Loving companion and best friend of Dawn Graham. Cherished dad of Heather Chesney and Matt Gionet-Dean, and Heidi Chesney, all of London. Dear brother of Al Chesney and Betty Doig of Seaforth. Also survived by his aunts and uncles, Marilyn Meinhardt and Bob of Florida, Glenn and Marilyn Chesney of Seaforth, Ted and Rosanne Novakowski of Tillsonburg and Gary and Brenda Novakowski of Tillsonburg.  Steve will also be missed by his cousins, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents Hugh and Karen (née Awde) Chesney, his sister Janet Chesney, as well as his grandparents. Steve had a passion for anything with a motor and wheels, from 18 wheelers to pickups and fast cars (as long as it wasn’t a Ford).
At Steve’s request, his body has been bequeathed to medical science research at the University of Western Ontario in London.  A celebration of life service will be held at the Seaforth Legion, Branch 156, on Saturday, June 1, 2019, from 1 to 4 PM, with words of remembrance at 3 PM.  Arrangements are entrusted to McGlynn Family Funeral Home, Seaforth.
