Rachel Ina Cordick (nee McDougall), of Hanover and formerly of Crawford, passed at Chapman House, Owen Sound on Monday, April 15th, 2019 in her 76th year. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Cordick. Cherished mother of Tom Cordick and his wife Sandy. Dear sister of Ken and Sharon McDougall, and Keith and Carol McDougall. Ina will be missed by her four legged companion, Bailey, and his 2 grandpuppies. She is fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews and their families, dear friends and church family. Predeceased by her sister Doris (the late Wayne Gerhardt and the late Ernie Nolan), and her brothers and sisters-in-law; Mel (the late Marg), Jack, Mary, Edith, Eva, Alberta, Grace (the late Russell McVicar), and Eldora (the late Dunc McDougall).
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service celebrating Ina’s life will be held at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Thursday, April 18th at 12 p.m., with visitation being held prior to the service from 10 – 11:45 a.m. Private family interment of cremated remains will be held at Durham Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Chapman House or Crawford United Church would be appreciated by the family.
