Douglas Wilson BENTLEY, of Hanover, on Tuesday. He was 82. Survived by the love of his life, wife Marilyn (nee McCandless) Bentley. Dear father of Thomas Bentley of Brantford and Judith Bentley and Paul Earle of Harriston. Dear son of Alma Mathers of Mount Forest, and brother of Robert Bentley and his partner William Sze-To of Toronto, Bonnie and Donald Bradley of Victoria, B.C., and brother-in-law Howard and Gloria McCandless of Brampton. He will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Wilmot Bentley, brother Donald Bentley, and brother-in-law Brian McCandless.
Visitation at Mighton Funeral Home, Hanover, on Friday from 2 until 4 and 7:30 to 9 PM, with Hanover Masonic Lodge Service at 7 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, at 11 AM, at Grace United Church, Hanover. Rev. Micol Cottrell officiating. Cremation with inurnment at a later date in Hanover Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Grace United Church, Canadian Cancer Society, or the Hanover and District Hospital would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
