SCOTT, Robert George (Bob) –
Robert “Bob” George Scott of Mildmay, on March 18, 2019, after a short illness, at age 76. Beloved husband of Karen (Klein Maltby) Scott and loving father to Jennifer and Debra Scott of Cambridge. Fondly remembered by sister, Barb Hillier of Scarborough and brother, John (Barb) Scott of Cobourg, nieces Susan (Joe) Klawitter and Laura (the late Steve) Burns and their children Cody, Wesley & Matthew Klawitter and Alexandria Burns. Stepfather to Kevin Klein and Michele (Ed) Kleinschuck and loving grandpa to Julia, Jonah and Alexandre Schuck. Dear brother-in-law to Sheila (Ron) Payne, Brenda-Louise (Larry) Moore, Dana (Helmuth) Slisarenko, Kim (Greg) Delarosbil and Robin Maltby Galbraith. Predeceased by his first wife, Gail in 1985. Bob was employed by Dominion Roofing of Toronto for 33 years before retiring. He was an active member of the Mildmay & District Lions Club and enjoyed golf, card playing and travel having recently returned from a romantic Caribbean cruise with Karen, his wife of almost 30 years.
Arrangements in care of Wall-Custance Funeral Home and Chapel, 206 Norfolk Street, Guelph with visitation on Friday, March 22 at 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm and Saturday, March 23 at 12 to 1 pm with service at 1:30 pm. Memorial donations to Sick Kids Foundation, the Ontario Art Education Association or Saugeen Valley Children’s Safety Village would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
