Peter METCALFE of Culross Township, on Tuesday, at age 74. Beloved husband of Joyce Metcalfe (née Vaughan) of Culross Township. Dear father of Jack and Diane Metcalfe of Whitechurch and Trevor Metcalfe of Formosa. Missed by his grandchildren, Mark, Emma, Mackenzie, Madison and Mitchell Metcalfe. Fondly remembered by his brother Paul and Nori Metcalfe of Rockwood, Wendy Metcalfe of Mildmay, brothers-in-law George and Barb Vaughan of Magnetawan and Ron and Darlene Vaughan of Corbeil, several nieces and nephews and others that have grown up being like one of his own. Predeceased by his parents, Jack and Joan (née MacDonald) Metcalfe, father and mother-in-law, Bill and Verna Vaughan and sister-in-law Marlene and Barry Shepherd.
A celebration of Peter’s life will take place at his home, 815 Sideroad 25 North (corner of Concession 12 and Sideroad 25) on Friday, from 2 until 9 PM.
Memorial donations to the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation or One Care, Wingham would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to Tiffin Funeral Home, Teeswater.
