Douglas HALDENBY of Lucknow on Wednesday at the age of 83 years. He was born on November 11, 1935, in Westford to the late Bertha (Milne) and Ted Haldenby. Loving husband of 59 years of Gladys. Dear father of Kim and Grant Phillips, Steven Haldenby, and Kandra and Art Clark. Adored grandpa of Shannon and Andy Ritchie, Kelly and Joel Sutton, Courtney Clark and Jamael Jacklin, and Chris Clark and Brianna Yuill. Special Great-Grandpa of Aidan Lee, Harley, Tyra, Haven and Jaren Sutton. Also survived by 5 brothers and 4 sisters and several in-laws. Predeceased by his parents, Bertha and Ted Haldenby, in-laws Jack and Margaret Hulley, one brother and 2 sisters.
A public visitation will be conducted at the MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow on Saturday from 6 to 9 PM. A private family service will be held with spring interment at Greenhill Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to MacKenzie & McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow.
