Dorothy Mae RAWN (nee Walter), of Durham and formerly of Mount Forest, on Tuesday, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Lloyd Rawn and the late Russell Rawn. Loving mother of Lorna and husband Art Eckhardt of Durham, Margaret and husband Jon Eckhardt of Durham, Barbara and husband Phil Paetz of Kitchener, Mary and husband Gord MacEachern of Mount Forest, and Paul Rawn and wife Karen of Barrie. Cherished grandmother of 25 grand and 32 great-grandchildren. Dorothy will also be remembered by her extended family; Robert Rawn and his wife Sandy, Brian Rawn and his wife Rose, Bruce Rawn and the late Gail, Roger Rawn and his wife Debbie, Brent Rawn and the late Wally Ferguson. Predeceased by her parents Lorne and Florence Walter.
A private funeral service celebrating Dorothy’s life will be held. Spring interment at Holstein Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation, Gideon Bible Society, Rockwood Terrace or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
