Gordon Bertil HOPKINS, of Route 3, Hanover, on Monday, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of Betty for 60 years. Loving father of Leroy Hopkins and his partner Sarah Demone, Bradley Hopkins and his partner Margaret Cronyn, Joyce Hopkins, Janette and her husband Paul Kaufman, Linda and her husband Grant Cornelius, Herb Hopkins and his wife Lisa, Greg Hopkins and his partner Annette Moore, and Vern Hopkins and his wife Monique. Cherished grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Brother-in-law of Paul Gilkinson and his wife Diane, Mary Gilkinson, and Marianne Gilkinson. Predeceased by his parents Roy and Nelda Hopkins, and his sister Hazel Wilson and her husband Bud Wilson. Friends may call at the McCulloch-Watson Funeral Home, Durham on Friday, from 2 until 4 and 6 to 9 PM. A funeral service celebrating Gordon’s life will be held at the Durham Community Centre, on Saturday, at 2 PM, with visitation being held prior to the service from 11:30 AM to 1:45 PM. Spring interment at Durham Cemetery.
