Raymond Anthony SPITZIG, formerly of Chepstow, on Wednesday. He was 84. Husband of 62 years to Florence Spitzig. Father of Peter and Cathy, and Paul, all of Walkerton, Bill and Rita of Waterloo, Tom and Darlene of Walkerton, Susan and Joe Steffler of Kearney, Jim and Nancy, John and Rosie, Dave and Cathy and Sharon and Darryl Johnson all of Walkerton.Grandfather of 27 grand and 30 great-grandchildren. Brother of Cyril and Bea, Dorothy and Walter Zettler, Joe and Mary, Norbert and Carol, and Earl and Chris, and brother-in-law of Elaine Spitzig and Marilyn Spitzig. Predeceased by brothers Maurice and Andrew; one great-grandson; brother-in-law Harvey Kleist and his parents.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 6 until 9 PM at the Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton with parish prayers at 5:45 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, at Mary Immaculate Church, Chepstow at 11:00 AM. Arrangements entrusted to Cameron Funeral Home, Walkerton.
