Father of David and Heather of Chesley, Joan and Peter McCannel of Burgoyne and step-father of Marilyn and Gary Sachs of Hamilton. Grandfather of Kara and Mark, Brynn and Jason, Caiden and Leah, Rebekah and Steve, Dan and Sheena, Courtney and Bill, Kellin and Larissa and step-grandfather of Krista and Matt and Shannon and Roy. Doug will be remembered by 14 great-grandchildren, 1 sister-in-law and 1 brother-in-law. Predeceased by his first wife Edith, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, and his parents.
Visitation at Rhody Family Funeral Home, Chesley on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 PM and again on Thursday from 10:30 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:30 AM
