Catherine “Kay” CURRIE-RUETZ (nee MacPherson) on Saturday in her 86th year. Wife of Harry Ruetz. Mom of Lee, James and Grace, Kathy and Jamie, Karen and the late George Faulkner, and daughter-in-law Susan. Gramma of 8 and great-gramma of 9. Stepmother of Debbie and friend Biernie, Trudy and Mike Cowie, Jeff Ruetz and friend Trish, and Allen Ruetz. Step-grandma to 7 and step great-grandma to 11. Sister of 1 and sister-in-law of 4. Predeceased by husband Elgin Currie, son Brian, granddaughter, Erin, 3 brothers, 3 sisters and 2 in-laws.
A celebration of Kay’s life will be held on Thursday, at 1 PM at the Underwood Community Centre. Arrangements entrusted to T.A. Brown Funeral Home, Port Elgin.
