Willie Nelson Says He Had ‘No Idea’ Dolly Parton Was Sick Before Her Death

Willie Nelson says he had no clue how sick Dolly Parton was the last time they were together.

Willie was talking to CNN’s Anderson Cooper during a recent interview ahead of Farm Aid 2026.

“I had no idea. I did an interview with her shortly before that, and she seemed fine.”

Nelson also revealed he recently recorded his own version of Parton’s classic “I Will Always Love You” as a tribute.
