Maren Morris To Step Away From Touring To Focus On Family And Creativity
Maren Morris is hitting pause on touring after her current dreamGIRL Tour wraps up in August.
Speaking with Today, Morris said she needs time to reset creatively after a decade on the road.
“This is sort of my last tour for a bit, because I want to free think more and be in the studio more.”
Morris is also eager to be home when her son starts kindergarten.
She recently released HERO: A Second Wind, an expanded anniversary album featuring new tracks, including a collaboration with ex Ryan Hurd on “We Can’t Be Friends.”
Looking further ahead, Morris expressed interest in Broadway. “I would love to do something like that, write for a musical,” she said.
