Kane Brown Opens Up About Feeling Alone In Country Music
Kane Brown says he has few real friends in the music world.
Speaking on The Pivot podcast, Brown admitted he feels isolated despite his success.
“I feel like I have more athlete friends than I do musician friends. I feel alone in the music world.”
Brown acknowledged having some industry acquaintances, including Morgan Wallen, Shaboozey, Chris Young, and Jason Aldean, but says those connections haven’t developed into genuine friendships.
“There’s a difference between texting somebody and being boys with somebody.”
Brown also described himself as socially awkward and sensitive, adding his wife encourages him to reach out more.
He expressed a simple wish — finding someone to hang out with, play golf, and share a few beers.
