Justin Moore Back On Stage After Rehab
Justin Moore publicly announced his sobriety during his July 9th concert in Illinois, his first show after a month-long touring break.
Moore told the crowd he had just completed a 30-day rehab program for alcohol addiction.
“I just got out of rehab for 30 days. This is my 31st day sober.”
Moore admitted his drinking “got out of control,” adding that he let down his band, crew, family, and God. No legal trouble was involved in his decision to seek help.
Moore had announced in early June that he was stepping away from the road for health reasons without offering specifics. He now says he hopes to help others through his experience and set a better example for his children.
Moore returns to Riley Green’s tour on July 16.
