Ella Langley, Taylor Swift, Stella Lefty Lead Historic Women’s Country Chart Sweep
Women have dominated Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart for a record seventh consecutive week on the August 1-dated list, surpassing all previous such runs since 1980 combined.
Ella Langley holds three of the top five spots, with “Choosin’ Texas” at No. 1, “I Can’t Love You Anymore” at No. 4, and “Be Her” at No. 5. Taylor Swift’s “I Knew It, I Knew You” sits at No. 2, while Stella Lefty’s “Boston” ranks No. 3.
“Choosin’ Texas” logged 25.3 million U.S. streams and 51.8 million in radio audience for the week. The song also leads the all-genre Hot 100 for a 15th week. “
