2026 CCMA Award Nominations Announced

The Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) revealed the nominees for the 2026 CCMA Awards, and Josh Ross and Cameron Whitcomb lead the way.

Ross is up for seven awards, including Entertainer of the Year, Ford F-150 Album of the Year, Fans’ Choice, Male Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, Musical Collaboration of the Year, and Video of the Year. Whitcomb is also up for seven awards: Entertainer of the Year, Ford F-150 Album of the Year, Fans’ Choice, Male Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, Alternative Country Album of the Year presented by National Music Centre, and Songwriter(s) of the Year presented by SOCAN.

James Barker Band has five nods, including Entertainer of the Year, Ford F-150 Album of the Year, Fans’ Choice, Group or Duo of the Year, and Single of the Year. Thelma & James is up for five awards, Ford F-150 Album of the Year, Group or Duo of the Year, Alternative Country Album of the Year presented by National Music Centre, Video of the Year, and Songwriter(s) of the Year presented by SOCAN. Tenille Townes has five nods, including Female Artist of the Year, Single of the Year, Alternative Country Album of the Year presented by National Music Centre, Musical Collaboration of the Year, and Songwriter(s) of the Year presented by SOCAN.

Celebrating four nominations are Owen Riegling and first-time nominee Morgan Griffiths. Nate Haller, Brett Kissel, and Meghan Patrick boast three apiece.

Country music fans across Canada can help choose the winner for the Breakthrough Artist or Group of the Year presented by FACTOR. The nominees are Sully Burrows, Morgan Griffiths, Zach McPhee, Brock Phillips, and Josh Stumpf.

The Fans’ Choice Award nominees are Jade Eagleson, Morgan Griffiths, James Barker Band, Brett Kissel, Tyler Joe Miller, The Reklaws, Owen Riegling, Josh Ross, Josh Stumpf, and Cameron Whitcomb.
