Ella Langley Makes Country Music History Holding Top Two Billboard Hot 100 Spots
Ella Langley achieved a historic milestone as “Choosin’ Texas” remains at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 for a ninth consecutive week while “Be Her” climbs to a new peak at number two.
She becomes the first woman primarily known for country music to simultaneously hold the chart’s top two positions in its 67-year history.
Among all core-country acts, only Morgan Wallen previously accomplished this feat for one week last May.
Women currently dominate eight spots in the top ten region, representing the strongest female presence in nearly twelve years.
The Billboard Hot 100 combines streaming, radio airplay and sales data across all genres in the United States.
