Blake Shelton Scores 30th #1 Hit
Blake Shelton has reached a significant career milestone with his 30th No. 1 hit on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart, as “Stay Country or Die Tryin'” climbed two spots to reach the top position.
This places Shelton in second place on the chart’s all-time leaderboard, behind only Kenny Chesney‘s 33 No. 1s since the ranking began in 1990.
Tim McGraw holds third place with 29.
Shelton’s first No. 1 hit came in 2001 with “Austin,” which stayed at the top for five weeks, while his previous number one was his recent hit collaboration with
Post Malone, “Pour Me a Drink,” which ruled Country Airplay for three weeks in October 2024.
