People Are Using Lainey Wilson’s Name To Scam Others
Being a huge star like Lainey Wilson comes with a lot of perks, but it also has it downsides too.
Like when people start using your name to scam people online.
Lainey sat down to chat with Theo Von on his podcast and was talking about how many online scams involved her.
“The amount of messages I get . . . Like people who think they’re actually in a relationship with me, because someone’s pretending to be me. It’s really bad. I’ve ruined a couple marriages on accident. Didn’t even mean to. They’re like, ‘My husband of 30 years believes he’s talking to you.'”
Theo summed it up well for everyone out there that might be confused.
“If you are not married to Lainey Wilson, you are not married to Lainey Wilson.”
