Luke Bryan’s Biggest Song Never His #1

Luke Bryan has racked up 31 #1 hits in his career, but one of his biggest songs never made it to the top of the charts.

Back in 2011, he released “Country Girl (Shake It for Me)” as the lead single from his album “Tailgates & Tanlines,” but it only reached as high as #4 on the country charts.

Luke’s label estimated that “Country Girl” was being pirated as much as 20 million times a week.

But it also spread the song far beyond country radio, so he’s not mad.

“What a life-altering song for me . . . I’ll get to play it until I’m 80 years old, making some country girls have fun and dance.”
