“Sesame Street” just made a stop in Nashville to help the Grand Ole Opry celebrate its 100th anniversary.

Elmo and Abby Cadabby both made their Opry stage debuts, and the crowd loved it.

Lauren Alaina had the privilege of introducing Elmo. And one of his first lines was, quote, “You like Elmo’s bolo tie?” Elmo and Lauren then sang her song “Road Less Traveled”.

It was Lauren’s first Opry appearance since giving birth to her daughter in June.

Then Abby joined Tayla Lynn, who’s the granddaughter of country legend Loretta Lynn, for a sweet rendition of “You’re Lookin’ at Country”.

Fun fact, Loretta once appeared on Sesame Street back in 1984.

And here are some other country stars that have been on Sesame Street: Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Johnny Cash, Faith Hill, and Chris Stapleton was on earlier this summer.
